Enluva Silk

The enluva silk is made of 100% silk, is sewn from a thin, highly elastic jersey material and is also intended to be worn under the proven enluva wool glove. A good fit and the short, flat cuff ensure a good wearing and tactile feeling even with this “double” combination. Silk fibres have special properties that are perfectly applied in our application:

• Silk is very breathable and absorbs little moisture
• Silk fabric is quick-drying and temperature-regulating
• Silk fibres are very tear-resistant and can therefore be processed into very fine, light and yet robust textiles
• the smooth fibre is anti-allergic and is comfortable to wear on the skin
• Silk is insensitive to mites, mold and fungi
• Silk fabric is dimensionally stable and largely wrinkle- and wrinkle-free
• Silk is a natural fibre and therefore easy to dispose of – without plastic pollution

As a result, the silk provides additional insulation as well as a pleasant feeling on the skin and, together with the classic enluva wool glove, forms a perfect combination.
